การอบรมผู้สูงอายุ (ฟรี)
มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น จัดหลักสูตร “โรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุ” ส่งเสริมการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิต รองรับสังคมผู้สูงอายุ ตอบสนองนโยบายรัฐบาล โดย สำนักบริการวิชาการ มข.ได้จัดโครงการโรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุและนวัตกรรม ภายใต้โครงการอำเภอ มข.พัฒนา โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อจัดการเรียนรู้ส่งเสริมการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิต ตลอดจนเสริมสร้างสุขภาพที่ดีทั้งร่างกายและจิตใจของผู้สูงอายุ รวมทั้งเป็นการอนุรักษ์ภูมิปัญญาสู่นวัตกรรม ให้สามารถสร้างรายได้และเป็นประโยชน์แก่สังคม เพื่อรองรับสังคมผู้สูงอายุ (Aging Society) ในประเทศไทย โดยจัดกิจกรรมในพื้นที่ ต.ขามป้อม และ ต.หนองแวง อ.พระยืน จ.ขอนแก่น รวมพื้นที่ครอบคลุมกว่า 20 หมู่บ้าน มีผู้สูงอายุสมัครเข้าโรงเรียนกว่า 270 คน
ทั้งนี้โครงการดังกล่าวเป็นไปตามนโยบายตามยุทธศาสตร์ที่ 3 Culture and Care Community คือเป็นองค์กรที่ดูแลห่วงใยใส่ใจสังคม ด้วยเล็งเห็นว่าประเทศไทยได้ก้าวสู่สังคมผู้สูงอายุ โครงการนี้จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อตอบสนองนโยบายรัฐบาลอย่างแท้จริง "สำนักบริการวิชาการกำหนดชุมชนต้นแบบ 12 ชุมชน ในปีนี้มีกำหนด 6 ชุมชน โดยชุมชนขามป้อม และหนองแวงอำเภอพระยืน เป็นชุมชนเป้าหมาย ซึ่งอยู่ในโครงการอำเภอ มข.พัฒนา มีคณะศึกษาศาสตร์เป็นแกนนำหลักสูตร ผนวกนักวิชาการของ มข.มาให้ความรู้แกนนำในชุมชน เพื่อพยุงหลักสูตรให้เข้มแข็ง เมื่อเราทำสำเร็จเขาจะยังสามารถต่อยอดโรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุอยู่ได้อย่างยั่งยืน"
นายวิลัย มาป้อง อายุ 73 ปี ในฐานะ ผอ.โรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุตำบลหนองแวง กล่าวว่า เมื่อสำรวจปัญหาพบว่าผู้สูงอายุในชุมชนเกิดอาการซึมเศร้า รู้สึกโดดเดี่ยว ก่อนเริ่มโครงการมีการตรวจสุขภาพเบื้องต้นให้ผู้สูงอายุจำนวน 270 คน ทั้งนี้มีอายุเฉลี่ย 67 ปี อายุสูงสุด 88 ปี การจัดโครงการเพื่อผู้สูงอายุนับเป็นครั้งแรกของชุมชน ผู้สูงอายุมีความกระตือรือล้น อยากเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม และมีความสุขเป็นอย่างมาก
หลักสูตรโรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุ มีระยะเวลา 10 เดือน เรียนวันศุกร์ละ 2 วันต่อเดือน รวม 20 วัน แบ่งเป็นความรู้ วิชาชีวิตร้อยละ 50 ประกอบด้วยวิชาสังคม ศาสนา ภูมิปัญญา ศิลปวัฒนธรรม สุขภาพ สิ่งแวดล้อม การออกกำลังกายสันทนาการ วิชาชีพร้อยละ30 ประกอบด้วยวิชาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง อาชีพและงานฝีมือ การจัดทำบัญชีครัวเรือน ดนตรีพื้นบ้าน และวิชาการร้อยละ 20 ประกอบด้วยวิชา กฎหมายและสิทธิผู้สูงอายุ ภาษาต่างประเทศ เทคโนโลยี เป็นต้น

วันที่ 3 สิงหาคม 2567 สถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนาวิชาชีพครูสำหรับอาเซียน มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น (IRDTP-KKU) จัดโครงการฝึกอบรมครู KNUE-KKU ประจำปี 2024 (2024 KNUE-KKU Teacher Training program) ภายใต้หัวข้อ’การเพิ่มทักษะและยกระดับเพื่อเพิ่มคุณภาพระบบคุรุศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัล’ โดยมีศาสตราจารย์ พญ. ผิวพรรณ มาลีวงษ์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัย มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น กล่าวเปิดงาน พร้อมด้วย Prof. Dr. Younghoon Kim,Director of KNUE UNITWIN Program, Korea National University of Education, Korea (South) ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. พงษ์ธนัช แซ่จู รักษาการผู้อำนวยการสถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนาวิชาชีพครูสำหรับอาเซียน มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ไมตรี อินทร์ประสิทธิ์ นักวิจัยอาวุโส สถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนาวิชาชีพครูสำหรับอาเซียน (IRDTP) มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ครูโรงเรียน อาจารย์ และนักการศึกษา จากทั่วประเทศที่มีความสนใจและความตั้งใจที่จะพัฒนาการศึกษาและวิชาชีพครูในยุคดิจิทัล โดยมีผู้ลงทะเบียนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม 54 คนและเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมผ่านทางออนไลน์ รวมกว่า 100 คน

การอบรมพยาบาลวิชาชีพของโรงพยาบาลรัฐและเอกชน ทั่วประเทศ (ฟรี)
สำนักบริการวิชาการ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น จัดอบรมการศึกษาต่อเนื่องทางการพยาบาลหลักสูตร “การคัดแยกผู้ป่วยฉุกเฉินสำหรับพยาบาลวิชาชีพ” รุ่นที่ 13 ระหว่างวันที่ 7 – 8 พฤศจิกายน 2567 ณ โรงแรม Jazzotel กรุงเทพมหานคร โดยการอบรมครั้งนี้มีผู้เข้าอบรมจำนวน 52 คนจากโรงพยาบาลทั้งสิ้น 31 แห่งทั่วประเทศ
วิทยากรประจำหลักสูตรได้รับเกียรติจาก อาจารย์ ดร.ภัคณัฐ วีรขจร พยาบาลวิชาชีพชำนาญการพิเศษ (ด้านการสอน) หัวหน้าศูนย์ศึกษาการแพทย์ฉุกเฉินและหัวหน้ากลุ่มงานหลักสูตรฉุกเฉินการแพทย์ และ ผู้ช่วยผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยสาธารณสุขสิรินธร ในการอบรมครั้งนี้ อาจารย์ ดร.ภัคณัฐ ได้ถ่ายทอดความรู้เกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ด้านสุขภาพในปัจจุบัน และความสำคัญของนักปฏิบัติการฉุกเฉินการแพทย์ (Paramedic) ในการขับเคลื่อนระบบการแพทย์ฉุกเฉิน นอกจากนี้ยังให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับกรอบกฎหมายที่เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อสร้างความเข้าใจที่ถูกต้องและปฏิบัติได้อย่างปลอดภัย
การอบรมครั้งนี้ยังมีกิจกรรม Workshop ซึ่งผู้เข้าอบรมได้ร่วมฝึกปฏิบัติจริงในสถานการณ์ฉุกเฉิน ทั้งนี้กิจกรรม Workshop เน้นไปที่การฝึกปฏิบัติการพยาบาลเวชปฏิบัติฉุกเฉิน และการทำงานร่วมกับเจ้าหน้าที่การแพทย์ฉุกเฉินในระบบการคัดแยกผู้ป่วยฉุกเฉินตามมาตรฐานและแนวปฏิบัติที่เหมาะสม กิจกรรมนี้ช่วยให้ผู้เข้าอบรมสามารถเรียนรู้และฝึกฝนทักษะการประเมินอาการผู้ป่วย คัดแยกความรุนแรงของอาการ และจัดลำดับความสำคัญในการช่วยเหลือเพื่อให้ผู้ป่วยได้รับการดูแลที่รวดเร็วและมีประสิทธิภาพ นอกจากนี้ยังมีการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และประสบการณ์ระหว่างวิทยากรและผู้เข้าอบรม โดยผู้เข้าอบรมมีโอกาสถามคำถามและแลกเปลี่ยนแนวคิดกับวิทยากรและเพื่อนร่วมวิชาชีพ เป็นการเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจในแนวทางการจัดการและการคัดแยกผู้ป่วยในภาวะฉุกเฉินให้ดียิ่งขึ้น

In 2024, Khon Kaen University is organizing training programs for external individuals to train personnel from external organizations, specifically for executives and supervisors, as follows:
(1) Khon Kaen University, through the Institute for Research and Development of Teachers for ASEAN, has received support for the implementation of the Teacher and School Quality Movement: Area (TSQM-A) project in Khon Kaen Province, aimed at driving the self-development of schools in the region.
This project is funded by the Office for the Promotion of Teacher and School Quality, the Equitable Education Fund (EEF). The project aims to drive the quality development of schools and education through the participation of local networks in Khon Kaen province. The fifth activity will be held through a meeting to jointly create a plan and drive the project, and to consider the three-year action plan (academic years 2024-2026). The meeting will also consider the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) of local networks in Khon Kaen province. The meeting is scheduled for Friday, June 14, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Room 2201, 2nd Floor, Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN. Invited participants include heads of provincial offices, Khon Kaen Provincial Education Office, Khon Kaen Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Offices 1-5, Khon Kaen Provincial Administrative Organization, and Khon Kaen Municipality, along with school administrators.
(2) A training course on "Guidelines and Criteria for Assisting the Public in the Areas of Disasters, Communicable Diseases, Quality of Life Development, Agriculture, and Other Areas According to Relevant Regulations of Local Administrative Organizations (LAOs)" will be held from September 20-22, 2024, at the M Grand Hotel, Roi Et Province. The purpose of the training is to enhance the knowledge and skills of personnel from Local Administrative Organizations (LAOs) in effectively assisting the public in various aspects.
This course aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of local administrative organization personnel in effectively assisting the public in various areas. The course focuses on developing the capacity of local administrative personnel to understand laws and regulations: Participants will learn about laws, regulations, and directives related to public assistance in detail, enabling them to correctly assist the public in various situations such as disasters, epidemics, and quality of life development. They will also learn how to plan and disburse budgets for public assistance efficiently. The goal of the course is to equip participants with the knowledge and ability to assist the public correctly and effectively, build confidence in their work, and apply the knowledge in real-life situations.
(3) Khon Kaen University is organizing an in-depth training course on “Summarizing Laws Related to the Powers and Duties of Local Administrative Organizations for Correct, Safe, and Efficient Practices, Including Desired Leadership Qualities to Gain Public Acceptance and Prepare for the New Local Elections in 2025” from October 28-30, 2024, at Wang Tai Hotel, Surat Thani Province. The course aims to enhance the understanding of laws and develop the leadership skills of local leaders to be effective and safe, while building public confidence.
Khon Kaen University has a policy to support education management for society and communities by providing university representatives at various levels, including university, faculty, and departmental levels, to disseminate knowledge in various fields to society, communities, and schools. This is done through professional training programs and skill enhancement for career development. For supporting local schools in the northeastern region, training is provided to improve the efficiency of teaching for teachers. For student training in local schools, the focus is often on English communication skills and life skills. Additionally, there are volunteer projects where students help support community schools. Examples include:
Knowledge Transfer for Developing Community Schools
(1) 1. On June 6, 2024, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Khon Kaen University organized a training project to promote soft power for community schools. The training topic was “Pride in the Community: Discovering Soft Power through Speaking and Writing.” The objective was to foster collaboration between schools and communities to identify the community’s soft power that could be leveraged for local economic development. This project was held at Chomsri Pittayakhom School, Chomsri Village, Chomsri Subdistrict, Phen District, Udon Thani Province, led by Associate Professor Dr. Ratana Chanthao, Thai Language Department. The project aimed to provide academic services by developing speaking and writing skills for students in rural schools, promoting awareness and pride in local culture, and preserving local wisdom to create value through community soft power. The project’s success benefited students, schools, and communities, integrating with other community development efforts.
(2) 2. On February 5 and 7, 2024, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Khon Kaen University organized a training project on “Developing English Communication Skills to Promote Agro-Tourism in Nong Kung Si District, Kalasin Province.” The objective was to enhance communication skills for agro-tourism in the area and to develop English communication skills for agro-tourism business operators. The project was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Dararat Kamphusaen, project leader, along with the project committee and students, with 80 participants at Jindasinthawanon School, Nong Kung Si District, Kalasin Province.
Supporting Community Schools through Student Volunteer Projects
(1) 1. The Student Coordination Club for Underprivileged Students at Khon Kaen University organized the 50th Volunteer Guidance Camp at Ban Lan Witthayakhom School, Hin Tang Subdistrict, Ban Phai District, Khon Kaen Province. The camp involved 130 high school students and 100 Khon Kaen University students. The aim was to provide knowledge and valuable experiences to younger students, motivating high school students at a critical decision-making stage after graduation. Activities included academic tutoring, multidisciplinary learning, and developing social skills, with cooperation from nearby schools and communities. The club organizes 3-4 volunteer guidance camps annually, including major and mid-sized camps during school breaks. Over 20 years, more than 100 camps have been held, contributing to student development and experience exchange among high school students.
Knowledge Transfer to Enhance Community Vocational Skills
(1) Fish Processing Training
1. On August 26, 2024, the Coordination Center for Royal Initiative Projects at Khon Kaen University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Somporn Keskaew, Acting Deputy Director, visited Khanuan Subdistrict, Nong Na Kham District, Khon Kaen Province, to discuss and exchange information with the Ban Wang Hin Sa Fish Processing Group, Village 10. The project presented prototype products developed from local fish resources under the Fish Product Quality Promotion and Development Project. The project aimed to support the community in increasing income and developing local products to meet market demands, driving sustainable community economic growth.
(2) 2. Khon Kaen University has promoted community occupations by driving the grassroots economic and social development project under the BCG (Bio-Circular-Green Economy) concept. The project supports product development and packaging design, focusing on processing oyster mushrooms into mushroom crackers, adding value and creating income for the community. This collaboration supports sustainable development goals (SDGs), such as vocational training for communities (SDG 4), poverty eradication (SDG 1), sustainable production and consumption (SDG 12), and promoting sustainable economic growth (SDG 8).
(3) 3. The Academic Service Office at Khon Kaen University, in collaboration with Sila Municipality, organized a “Food Processing for Career Creation” activity under the project to develop job readiness skills for people with disabilities in Khon Kaen Province on October 8-9, 2024, at Sila Municipality, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province. The activity aimed to develop vocational skills for people with disabilities, aligning with “Strategy 4: Academic Services for Social Benefit,” supporting and promoting careers for communities and people with disabilities, creating economic benefits, and strengthening communities according to sustainable development goals (SDGs). The project received funding from the Fund for the Promotion and Development of the Quality of Life of Persons with Disabilities.
Khon Kaen University has set a vision for its council to lead the university towards becoming a “world-class research and development university” while maintaining its value to society. The success of this vision will be measured by global recognition through various ranking institutions. The university has outlined three key policy goals and missions: People (stakeholders of the university), Ecological (university ecosystem), and Spiritual (spirit of Khon Kaen University). To achieve these goals, Khon Kaen University needs to undergo a comprehensive transformation, especially in education.
Education Transformation
(1) Shift from providing education solely for high school graduates to offering education for people of all ages.
